PREPRESS SUPERVISOR
Shift: 2nd
Position: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
· Track quality issues.
· Monitor and review employee progress and attendance.
· Recommend Solutions for customer requirements.
· Verify and communicate information and/or instructions, in and out of the prepress department.
· Troubleshoot and prepare 1 up files for imposition.
· Create impositions using Creo Preps software.
· Output Impresses from Prinergy workflow.
· Track production schedules.
· Output film from Prinergy workflow.
· Upload PDF Proofs to server.
· Prepare files and output to the Indigo Digital press.
· Flow Variable data into Quark documents.
· Create Impositions for the Indigo press utilizing an Indigo/Quark extension.
· Preflight Lenticular jobs.
· Make Colorkey proofs from film.
· Make Spectrum proofs from Prinergy.
· Make Mini-Press plates from film.
· Develop employees
· Track proof/impress due dates
· Weekend coverage when necessary
· Checking and adjusting Hagen reports
· Make CTP plates from Prinergy.
· Make relief plates and blankets.
· Strip film for Mini-Presses.
· Strip Film for large presses
· Strip film for relief plates and blankets.
· Make film for Silk-Screening
· Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Technical school diploma in prepress applications and/or 3 years experience in a prepress production environment.
· Knowledge of prepress software including:
· Creo Preps
· Quark Xpress
· Adobe Illustrator
· Adobe Photoshop
· Adobe InDesign
· Macromedia Freehand
· Great verbal and written communication skills.
· Understanding of color theory, specifically as it applies to printing
TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE - Level 3 (Electronics/Electrical Troubleshooting)
Position: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
· Perform preventive maintenance on all types of equipment
· Perform effective emergency repairs on all types or equipment
· Complete required paperwork consistently accurately and on time
· Support all departments to assure all equipment is running properly and efficiently
· Follow managements direction
· Work with R&D to improve our processes
· Utilize PC experience to troubleshoot and repair equipment
· Train others to operate and maintain equipment properly
· Any other responsibilities required by management
Requirements:
· must be able to lift 50 lbs
· must be able to use a multimeter
· must be able to read wiring diagrams
· must be ably to use a mill and lathe
· must have a positive attitude
· must be team oriented
· must be able to stay on feet for 8-12 hrs
· must be able to receive and give direction
· must maintain a high level of workmanship at all times
· must be able to perform all types of electrical tasks
· must be proficient with Windows based PC programs
· must be flexible when asked to work overtime
· High school diploma required
· Technical degree in Electronics or Electronic Troubleshooting required
· Journeyman or Electrical Maintenance License preferred
· 3 to 5 years maintenance experience required
SILKSCREEN LAMINATION SUPERVISOR
Shift: 2nd
Position: Full-Time
Department: Silkscreen/ Lamination
Responsibilities: This individual must have prior leadership experience in a Production/ Manufacturing environment. Silk Screen printing experience preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills with solid computer skills are essential. The candidate should also have the ability to take complete ownership of the development of all aspects within the Department including Productivity, Quality, Waste, Hiring/Training, etc. in a changing and challenging environment.
Requirements: High school diploma and college degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years in a Printing or Manufacturing environment is required for this position. Silk Screen printing experience is preferred along with 2 years leadership experience. Strong organizational skills, computer knowledge, and strong coaching/ communication skills are necessary for this position. This individual must also be able to drive effective change through to results and be able to meet deadlines.
BUSINESS ANALYST
Position: Full-Time
Department: Accounting
Responsibilities: The Business Analyst will be responsible for the complete development of complex new initiative financial proposals. Analyze project specific costs and prepare periodic reports comparing financial model projections to actual investments and production costs for materials, labor and overhead. The Business Analyst is responsible for preparing the return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), discounted cash flow (DCF) to insure an appropriate return on capital (ROC) and return on investment (ROI) is achieved. Post investment decisions will be tracked and compared with the model created.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent plus 5 years of accounting experience. Strong computer experience including Excel, Word and Outlook; Superior communication skills, verbal and written, finance software skills, Hagen preferred. Required for this position is a thorough knowledge of general accounting skills knowledge plus the application of general accounting theory and being detail oriented with the ability to step back and view the big picture.
