Travel Tags, Inc. announces partnership with Giftango

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — Travel Tags, Inc., a division of Taylor Corporation, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic relationship with Giftango Corporation, the leading virtual gift card company. Under the agreement the companies will work together to bring both virtual and plastic gift card solutions to their customers.

Travel Tags is ranked by the Nilson Report as the world’s largest provider of gift cards. The relationship between Travel Tags and Giftango marks a major endorsement of the growing importance of mobile and electronic gift cards in the pre-paid market, according to the CEO of Travel Tags, Inc.

Retailers who utilize Travel Tags eCommerce solutions, will be able to manage channel sales, issue and fulfill physical and virtual stored value cards, execute marketing campaigns, offer promotions and track deliverability statistics and analytics never before available in stored value. Channel partners can track sales and distribution across the variety of stored value processors and merchants, from a single cohesive platform.

Travel Tags’ partnership with Giftango follows the recent announcement that Taylor Corporation invested in the Series B round of Giftango. Giftango plans to use the proceeds to continue its growth and expansion into the digital eGift card market.

“We are excited to work with Travel Tags in pushing new products to the market that leverages the strengths of both organiza- tions. Merchants are asking for this, and they expect refined solutions that embrace the changes happening in this market,” said David Nelsen, CEO of Giftango.

Travel Tags, Inc. announces partnership with Earthworks®

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — Travel Tags, Inc., a leading prepaid and gift card solutions provider, strengthens its initiative to provide consumers and retailers with environmentally-friendly solutions by announcing a partnership with Earthworks®.

Travel Tags, Inc.’ partnership with Earthworks System LLC, will allow retailers who produce gift cards to Earthworks specifications the ability to participate in the Recyclable Card Return Program from Earthworks. Travel Tags will work with retailers and Earthworks to create a circle of gift card recycling that is sustainable and good for the environment. The process is a simple progression of steps which uses returned gift cards to produce recycled plastic card stock that is then used to produce more cards. Cards produced under the program will include an Earthworks® Recyclable Content Identifier as an indication of program participation.

“Retailers are becoming more and more focused on ‘greening’ up their products and services and we’re excited to be able to assist our customers in fulfilling their sustainability initiatives by providing a full suite of renewable card substrates and recycling capabilities,” says Martha Weaver, marketing manager at Travel Tags, Inc.

Rodd Gilbert, president of Earthworks SystemTM, adds “Adding the Earthworks® Recyclable Content Identifier to Travel Tags, Inc.’ mix of programs provides an appealing alternative for retailers who want to distinguish themselves as environmental leaders. It seamlessly integrates with current card programs, allowing a way for retailers to demonstrate eco-awareness and for consumers to feel good about helping the environment – it’s a winning solution.”
